The innovative exhibitions and programs serve as cultural experiences and educational exchange between Skidmore College campus and community. The museum's director and curator work to address and deconstruct the conventional barriers within museums, displaying and combining all kinds of media and artifacts from different eras. Hours: Tuesday - Sunday, 12:00 - 5:00 p.m. During the summer, the Museum will remain open until 7pm on Fridays and during the winter, the Museum will remain open on Thursdays until 9pm.

Ulysses Grant came to this cottage on Mt. McGregor to complete his memoirs. The rooms remain as they were when he died here in July 1885; there is also a spectacular view of the Hudson Valley. The Lake George Opera has been producing professional opera since1962 and is pleased to announce its 2009 & 48th summer Spa Little Theater Season. The National Museum of Dance & Hall of Fame was established in 1986 and is the only museum in the nation dedicated to professional dance.  Located in the former Washington Bath House-a spacious, airy 1918 Arts and Crafts-style building- in the Saratoga Spa State Park, the museum houses a growing collection of photographs, videos, artifacts, costumes, biographies, and archives comprising a contemporary and retrospective examination of seminal contributions to dance, as well as the C.V. Whitney Hall of Fame and the School of the Arts in the Swyer Studios.  The museum may also be rented for private functions and business meetings.  Group tours are available.  Please call for more information.

The Yaddo Gardens are open daily dawn to dusk, free of charge. A formal rose garden and an informal rock garden feature turn-of-the-century fountains and statues.
