Racing

Thoroughbred Racing Season in Saratoga continues throughout the month of August. The highlight of the season, The Travers, takes place toward the end of the month. It is usually featured on ESPN and draws a huge crowd of spectators to enjoy the festivities and spectacle!

Music

Enjoy the Saratoga Chamber Music Festival at SPAC, offering both matinee and evening performances at the Spa Little Theatre.

Always an experience to be remembered, the Philadelphia Orchestra also performs at SPAC throughout the month of August.

Polo

Saratoga Polo Association continues from mid-June through the early part of September with matches every Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Sunday Evening at 5:30 p.m.

Arts & Antiques

Browse all types of artwork, crafts and one-of-a-kind creations during Art in the Park. This exhibition is held in Congress Park in downtown Saratoga. A bustling event, you’ll find music, entertainment, refreshments, and activities for the kids.

The annual Saratoga Springs Antique Show is held in mid-August at Canfield Casino in Congress Park. Find top dealers from all over the East Coast with many types of antiques: with furnishings, jewelry, art and more.

There are free events open to the public at Skidmore College all summer, including concerts on the roof of the Tang Museum and Gallery, the Skidmore Jazz Institute and fiction and poetry readings.
