Rhino Lacrosse Academy and Annual Saratoga Lacrosse Shootout

Rhino Lacrosse is one of the top ranking lacrosse training programs in North America. Their performance enhancing courses, clinics, tournaments, year-round leagues, and summer academies offer boys grades 3-12 the opportunity to receive the highest quality lacrosse training available. Saratoga Springs is lucky to be hosting the Rhino Lacrosse Academy for the first time June 30th-July 3rd 2014. This academy was started by professional lacrosse player and instructor Ryan Powell. Since his days as a professional lacrosse player and coach, Powell has dedicated his life to becoming the world’s premiere lacrosse instructor. Powell handpicks Rhino’s elite coaching staff to include the best in the game; college coaches, high school coaches, professional players and Division I college players. Each day of camp includes on field instruction, position specific training, games and demonstrations. The players will leave the Rhino Lacrosse Academy knowing all of the important aspects of the game.

This session of the Rhino Lacrosse Academy leads up to the 2nd Annual Saratoga Lacrosse Shootout. The lacrosse shootout will start on Friday July 4th and will run through Sunday July 6th. Opening festivities begin at 5 pm on Friday the 4th and the games will be played on the 5th and 6th. The Rhino Lacrosse Shootout is unique and unlike any other lacrosse event that you have previously been to. This event has a cool festival vibe and includes many activities such as coaching clinics, 3 vs. 3 mini tournaments, The Powell Hour demonstration which features the Powell brothers, a players only lounge, Rip’s Grill, Vendor Village, and live music.
