Country music favorite Zac Brown Band is returning to SPAC August 31st to wow fans with more than just their music.

There’s something extraordinary about these down to earth, southern gentlemen.  Aside from their status as popular, award winning country music artists, they’re a bunch of foodies! You heard us right. The Zac Brown Band travels the country to share not only good music with fans and devoted followers, but good ol’ Southern cooking.

This weekend the Zac Brown Band will be traveling to Saratoga with their 54 foot long mobile kitchen, named Cookie, headed up by their executive chef, Rusty Hamlin.  This Louisiana-born Chef is passionate about fresh, local ingredients and spends his days meeting with local farmers to gather fruits and vegetables for the evening’s Eat and Greet event. Then he, along with his two sous chefs, prepares a meal for about 200 hungry fans prior to the band’s performance.

Lucky Saratoga fans will get to experience local produce and Southern gourmet cuisine (this isn’t a barbeque with hot dogs and hamburger folks!) at 6PM this Saturday for the Zac Brown Band’s SPAC Eat and Greet event, while having a chance to mingle with the band over a casual meal.

The Zac Brown Band is known as one of the largest Southern hospitality traveling acts today. They’re unique and original in the way that they offer a unique experience to their fans, focused on the universal joy of food.  To learn more about how the Zac Brown Band incorporates their love of music and food into fan experiences, check out the Zac Brown Band: Legendary Musicians and Foodies infographic below.

Want to attend an Eat and Greet? Be sure to join the Zac Brown Band fan club, the Zamily, where you’ll receive notifications of upcoming Eat and Greet events, and have the chance to enter the lottery to win two Eat and Greet passes for a show of your choice!

We hope to see you at SPAC this Saturday!
