Today, with the creation of the National Scholastic Rowing Association, Fish Creek will now be home to the first-ever National Schools championship regatta June 7 and 8.
This is the third national championship regatta in the United States open to high schools, but rather than creating a splinter organization, NSRA vice-president and Saratoga Rowing Association regatta director Christopher Chase sees it as unifying the sport.
