Saratoga's nationally competitive rugby program
The Saratoga Rugby Club is a nationally competitive rugby program based in the heart of Saratoga Springs! In its short history, the club has made a national championship bid and continues to build its programs to accommodate players at all levels.
The Saratoga Rugby Club started the first youth rugby program in Saratoga County in conjunction with the Saratoga Regional YMCA, called Y Rugby. Y Rugby accommodates ages 7-13, both boys and girls, building a future pipeline into the regional high school Capital District Youth Rugby (CDYR) programs.
Saratoga Rugby Clubs 35+ program features players tied closely to its uniquely owned Saratoga Rugby Business Club™. Allowing high-school, collegiate, current and visiting players the opportunity to develop an immediate business and social pipeline into the community. This, in conjunction with our close working relationship and membership with the Saratoga Convention & Tourism Bureau and newly formed Saratoga County Sports Commission…we can provide a wide range of benefits to any new member!
The Saratoga Rugby Club’s home pitch is located in the heart of Saratoga Springs on the beautiful North Side Recreation fields.
The premier Rugby 7’s event in New England takes place very summer at the Saratoga Sevens Rugby Invitational! Highlighting top rugby clubs from around the United States and internationally, it fits perfectly with opening weekend at the races and in such a sport rich city!
