    Apple Orchards

    Did you know the apple is the official fruit of New York State? With more than 40 different varieties and approximately 600 producers, New York State is one of the top apple producers in the country! With the fall season underway, take a scenic drive to your nearest orchard to do some apple picking and enjoy that first, crisp bite into a freshly-picked apple, along with some warm cider doughnuts and fresh pressed cider.

    Corn Mazes

    If you aren’t interested in pumpkin picking or shopping for autumn harvest products, don’t worry.  You can still enjoy yourself at area farms by checking out the intricate and imaginative corn mazes! There’s nothing more fun than losing yourself in a great corn maze, and the Saratoga area has some of the best. Work your way through the winding pathways of corn and try to maneuver your way out. Saratoga has a variety of attractions that are sure to elicit a scream or two, whether it’s a haunted hayride, creepy corn maze or a terrifying haunted house. For those looking for something gentler and more enchanting, be sure to check out the Pumpkin Glow & Light Show!

    Double M Haunted Hayrides

    Double M Haunted Hayrides in Ballston Spa has been a Halloween season tradition for over three decades. Join them this year for a spooky hayride through the woods and a trip to a variety of terrifying attractions.     Fright Fest at The Great Escape

    Fright Fest returns to The Great Escape! The park’s largest and most chilling celebration is back after two years and scarier than ever, featuring entertaining dance shows, terrifying haunted houses, and startling scare zones. Fright Fest kicks off at The Great Escape on Saturday, October 2, and runs Friday evenings and weekends through October 31.     Haunted Corn Maze at Schuyler Farms
