We get asked all the time, "what's with the name 'Farmers Hardware'?" The Farmer's Hardware Co. was a hardware store founded in 1901 within the Collamer Building on Broadway in downtown Saratoga Springs. In 1925, the thriving hardware store built our brick building at 35 Maple Avenue as a production facility and warehouse to serve the store. In fact, a bridge was built from the 2nd floor of the hardware store to our third floor, which still exists today. Our Brunch Hall concept is modeled after the great open and airy American food halls like Boston's Quincy Market or Union Market in Washington D.C. That means we can accommodate over 100 guests comfortably at our large communal tables on our 3 floors and sunny courtyard. Combine that with our fine-casual food served via quick counter-service, you won't have to wait long for delicious breakfast, lunch or happy hour drinks! On the menu, you can expect classics with a twist, like our signature Eggs Shorty (Bordeaux braised short ribs Benedict, with poached egg and browned butter hollandaise.) Combine those mains with our revolving 10 or so fresh and fantastic daily sides and you'll be sure to quickly understand what Inspired Brunch truly means.
