Gregory Tomb spent his early childhood in Burnt Hills. He remembers pancake breakfasts at the Saratoga Track, drives down the Avenue of the Pines, and laying on a blanket with his family at SPAC while listening to the Orchestra. A value of exploration was ingrained in him early. His family would regularly stop at the Glass Museum in Corning, NY on their frequent road trips. Decades later, after working professionally with glass for over 20 years, Greg returns to Saratoga with a full glass blowing and glass fusing studio.
This summer The Gideon Putnam and Saratoga Spa State Park welcome Gregory Tomb and Gregory Tomb Glassworks to Saratoga Springs. Greg will be an artist in Residence at the Gideon Putnam from July 1 through Labor Day offering glassblowing classes 5-6 days a week!
