Gregory Tomb spent his early childhood in Burnt Hills. He remembers pancake breakfasts at the Saratoga Track, drives down the Avenue of the Pines, and laying on a blanket with his family at SPAC while listening to the Orchestra. An interest in glass began the first time he saw this captivating process. His family would regularly stop at the Glass Museum in Corning, NY on their frequent road trips. It wasn’t until he attended Hartwick College that he actually started working with glass. He honed his skills as a production team leader for Simon Pearce Glass. Decades later, after working professionally with glass for over 20 years, Greg returns to Saratoga with a full glass blowing and glass fusing studio.
Take this opportunity to try glassblowing, in the 1 or 2 hour experiences you’ll stay safe, have fun and create your own beautiful work of glass art one-on-one at Gregory Tomb Glassblowing Studio.
