Saratoga Springs is the upstate New York cultural hub for the performing arts, where there is never a shortage of live music, theater or events. Our famous outdoor amphitheater located in the State Park, with its sloping green lawns, provides ample indoor and outdoor seating for a variety of classical performances including the New York City Ballet, Phil-
adelphia Orchestra and the Chamber Music Society of Lincoln Center, as well as world-renowned performers and bands of every musical genre. An additional season highlight is the two-day Freihofer Jazz Festival, one of the most respected and popular jazz festivals in the country.
Music runs deep in our history. The oldest continuously operating folk music venue in the United States resides right here in Saratoga! Now, live music pops up everywhere you turn—at restaurants, bars, and venues throughout downtown and the surrounding areas, providing a variety of musical performances.
