About Saratoga Springs Heritage Area Visitor Center
The Saratoga Springs Heritage Area Visitor Center is housed in a stunning Beaux-Arts style building. It was originally built as a trolley station for the Hudson Valley Railway Company in 1915 and served as the most elegant station on the eastern seaboard. In 1941, the building was purchased by New York State and converted into a Drink Hall, where visitors could buy and enjoy Saratoga’s therapeutic mineral waters. In 1974, the building was placed on the National Register of Historic Places. Stocked with maps and brochures, the Heritage Area Visitor Center is an important part of any visit to Saratoga Springs!
