Saratoga Springs, N.Y. – Discover Saratoga is excited to announce that Saratoga Springs has been nominated for "Best Small College Town" in USA TODAY's 10Best Readers’ Choice Awards. This exciting national recognition celebrates the dynamic blend of higher education, culture, and community pride that makes Saratoga Springs, and the surrounding county, a unique and vibrant destination. Voting is open to the public now through noon on March 31, 2025.

Saratoga’s nomination recognizes its perfect marriage of academia and culture, anchored by iconic Skidmore College, which has been a staple of Saratoga Springs for over 100 years. Students and resident enjoy a lively downtown area filled with local shops, restaurants and attractions including amazing arts attractions like the historic Caffe Lena and Universal Preservation Hall.
This nomination is not the only exciting accolade for Saratoga County. Discover Saratoga is thrilled to share that Saratoga has been named 7th on USA Today's 10Best "Best Small Town Arts Scene" list, placing the county in the top 10 art communities in the nation and making it the only New York destination to earn this recognition.
