Petal & Hive
Petal + Hive features award-winning, locally made skincare, botanical bath and body products, and gorgeous gift boxes and baskets. And they're not only a clean beauty store, they're a place to connect and feel cared for. The flagship boutique in Saratoga Springs is a woman-powered and community-driven space where kindness and conversation are just as important as what’s on the shelves. They represent two small beauty brands created by Jillian Ehrenberg, a cosmetic chemist and the founder of the store. Petal + Hive, the namesake line, and Acta Beauty, their own high-performance clean skincare collection, are featured on their shelves. Alongside these two brands, they carry a curated selection of other small-batch beauty lines. Many of them are woman-owned, and all use clean ingredients. Each one has a story worth telling, and they love sharing them with you. When you stop in to browse or stay to chat, you’ll always find a friendly face behind the counter. Visit them on Broadway, sign up for their emails, and follow them on social media for a reminder that you are appreciated.
SoBro Conservancy
SoBro Triangle welcomes visitors from dawn to dusk. This small ecological garden, owned by SoBro Conservancy, packs plenty of greenery, blossoms, and buzzing into its 0.2 acres. It beautifies one of our busiest gateway intersections, just a short stroll from Saratoga’s vibrant core. Designed as a native-plant ecosystem, SoBro Triangle provides food and shelter for pollinators, songbirds, and other wildlife. For people, it offers a lush oasis in a densely developed commercial area. Sitting on the site of a former gas station, the parcel was vacant for a couple of decades until community members founded SoBro Conservancy, a 501(c)(3) charity, in 2022. SoBro’s goal was to transform the barren property into a highly visible, biodiverse greenspace. Things move quickly and, by 2025, SoBro’s volunteers had completed the planned planting. Visitors are amazed that such a small garden, bursting with life in the heart of Saratoga, can transport them out of their urban surroundings, and bring such a joyful encounter with nature.
Vessel by SCAC
At VESSEL, every piece tells a story. They are a specialty ceramics store offering one-of-a-kind, handcrafted works that are as functional as they are sculptural. Whether it's a mug that feels just right in your hand or a 'vessel' that stands as its own art piece, each item is made with intention by artists who pour their skill and soul into the craft.
Born from the heart of the Saratoga Clay Arts Center, the store is the final link in a full-circle journey: from learning and making, to exhibiting and now sharing. At Vessel, they are deeply connected to their roots in education, gallery exhibitions, and community engagement. Their shelves reflect the diversity and depth of the clay community they support—students, emerging artists, and established makers all find a home here.
This is more than a shop. It’s a celebration of ceramic art in its many forms, a space where you can take home not just an object, but a story, a process, and a piece of a vibrant creative community.
