Saratoga Comic Con returns May 3-4, and if you’re planning to attend this year’s event, here’s what to know before you go! Think: cosplay, collectibles, gaming, and celebrity guests under one roof at one of New York’s biggest fan conventions.
Parking and Tickets
The event occurs at the Saratoga Springs City Center, in the heart of downtown. There’s a parking garage attached to the venue, but it fills quickly on peak days. Nearby surface lots and street parking are available (especially along Broadway), though be prepared for a short walk. Your best bet? Arrive early, especially if you’re coming in costume or hoping to line up for a photo op!
Saratoga Comic Con tickets are available online in advance or at the door. You can grab single-day or weekend passes, and kids under 7 get in free with a paying adult. Keep your wristband on if you plan to re-enter—security will check it every time.
Pro Tip: If you’re a student, senior, or military, you can expect discounted admission! Bring your ID just in case.
High-Energy, Fan-Friendly Atmosphere!
SCC may be a community-oriented convention, but they still deliver plenty of big names. Past guests have included actors from The Walking Dead, Dragon Ball Z, and more! The vibe is always laid-back and perfect for first-timers or families.
Some of this year's confirmed celebrities include:
- Jason Griffith – Voiced Sonic and Shadow in Sonic X and various Sonic video games.
- Roger Clark – Best known as the voice and performance actor for Arthur Morgan in Red Dead Redemption 2.
- Walter Jones – The original Black Ranger, Zack Taylor, in Mighty Morphin Power Rangers.
- Nicole Tompkins – Plays Jill Valentine in Resident Evil 3 and voices multiple characters in Resident Evil 8.
- Carl Toop – Portrayed the Alien Warrior in James Cameron’s Aliens (1986).
Cosplay is a major part of the scene. If you’re planning to dress up, go all in! You’ll find costume contests, themed photo ops, and plenty of like-minded fans roaming the aisles. Just make sure your props comply with the convention’s safety policy.
Vendors, Gaming, Panels, and More…
Comic Con Saratoga is also a great place to shop, play, and explore. The vendor floor is packed with comics, art, figures, rare collectibles, and custom merch. Expect a mix of big names and one-of-a-kind finds.
No convention is complete without panels featuring celebrities and content creators. Some of this year’s scheduled panels include:
- Voice Actor’s Panel (Saturday, 2:00 PM) – A Q&A session featuring Erica Luttrell (Apex Legends), Greg Dulcie (One Piece), and Cedric L. Williams (Demon Slayer), sharing stories from their careers in voice acting.
- Red Dead Redemption Panel (Saturday, 3:00 PM) – Join the voices behind Arthur, John, Micah, Susan, and Charles for a behind-the-scenes look at one of the most beloved game franchises of all time.
- Monster Madness Trivia (Saturday, 6:15 PM) – An 18+ horror trivia showdown hosted by the Big Dumb Monster podcast—prizes, monsters, and bragging rights on the line.
- Battle of the Movies: Iron Man vs Batman Begins (Sunday, 2:00 PM) – A crowd-decided cinematic showdown—two genre-defining films go head-to-head in a live debate format.
You can also expect tabletop games, video game tournaments, workshops, and live demonstrations scheduled throughout the weekend.
