The countdown is on. The Belmont Stakes Racing Festival kicks off in just a month, and on Saturday, June 6, Saratoga Race Course will once again host the final leg of the Triple Crown for the last time. Excitement is building across Saratoga County, as local businesses and organizations gear up to welcome racing fans from around the world for this historic event.
Belmont on Broadway Concert
On Wednesday, June 3, the first official race day, Downtown Saratoga Springs will come alive with a FREE concert on Broadway from 7:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. Expect street closures from Van Dam Street to Lake Avenue (near City Hall) beginning early that morning for stage setup.
We’re excited to announce Fitz and The Tantrums as the headliner, with special guest Vertical Horizon. Don't miss out on the ultimate VIP pre-show with Chelsea Handler at Universal Preservation Hall at 4pm before the concert. Tickets are selling fast for this VIP experience so get yours now!

Therapeutic Horses of Saratoga is celebrating the Belmont Stakes with Embrace the Belmont III on June 2, helping local business owners, professionals, and residents deepen their understanding of horse racing, so they'll feel prepared to not only embrace the Belmont Racing Festival but also feel capable of discussing this year’s Belmont Stakes field with an aura of expertise.
The National Museum of Racing and Hall of Fame is hosting two Belmont themed events to celebrate the racing festival in Saratoga. Celebrate in the historic Canfield Casino on June 4 for the Belmont Bash, a night of elegance and celebration. Bring the kids out for a carnival-style day at the museum during Belmont Family Fun Fest on June 7 featuring games, food, entertainment, and activities for the whole family.
Who doesn't love local live music? Check out Bearly Dead at Putnam Place on June 6 for a cosmic exploration of the Grateful Dead catalog! Bearly Dead, Boston-based quintet, performs a concert-style show that celebrates the journey of the Grateful Dead from their earliest records until their final tours. The band delivers a full-spectrum concert experience filled with danceable energy and world-class musicianship.
