Saratoga Frozen Springs Classic Pond Hockey Tournament (Photos)

The cold was no match for eager hockey players this past weekend. Were you at the Saratoga Frozen Springs Classic Pond Hockey Tournament at the Saratoga Spa State Park on February 9-11? If not, here's what you missed.

The premier hockey event brought 96 teams to Saratoga for the chilly winter weekend, which translates to about 1200 players and spectators throughout the weekend.

The tournament attracted every skill level-- from the weekend pick-up player, to an Adirondack Thunder team. Families joined in to cheer on their teams and enjoy a beautiful winter weekend in Saratoga Springs. Players and spectators alike enjoyed treats from local food trucks on site, live entertainment, and area restaurants, bars and attractions.

Bronze Winner: Oui Oui

Runner up: Ancient Voo Doo from Alexandria, VA

Silver Winner: Barrelhouse Narrangansett Fighting Clams  

Runner up: Glenrock from New York, NY
