Battles of Saratoga 250th Anniversary Commemorations
In October 2027, the Battles of Saratoga will be brought to life as units of living historians gather for a five-day program, including two distinct battle reenactments near the historic battlefields, commemorating the 250th anniversary of America’s Turning Point victory here. Over Columbus Day weekend, participants will march, camp, and interpret near the same ridges, fields, and landscapes that shaped the course of America's Revolution, with a schedule designed to balance meaningful time in the field with high-quality public engagement.
Between scenarios and programs, participants and their families can also enjoy the sites featured in the Saratoga Revolutionary Experience, where world-changing heritage meets world-class hospitality. Explore Saratoga National Historical Park and nearby Revolutionary-era sites, then discover locally made food and drink, retail shops, vibrant community culture, historic streetscapes, and scenic fall landscapes across Saratoga County. From welcoming lodging and museums to shops, trails, and village centers, Saratoga offers living historians and history enthusiasts a long weekend that is as memorable off the field as it is on it.
